Online publication of own works
Via PubliDo, our university publication server, Fachhochschule Dortmund employees can easily publish their own documents. In this way, they can be found permanently (also via search engines) and searched according to various criteria. In addition, they are classified as part of the university bibliography in the FH context.
In addition, unique identifiers (DOI and URN) are assigned as well as an assignment to the respective faculty or institute. If desired, access to the full-text document to be published can be restricted to the campus network of Fachhochschule Dortmund.

Recording of publication data via the Research Information System (FIS)
The research information system is the central point for recording publications at Fachhochschule Dortmund. The metadata is entered by the researchers themselves and then checked and validated by the library. Validated publication data feeds the publication lists on the researchers' profile pages on the internet and intranet. In addition, a general publication pool is generated from the FIS, which can be searched using various criteria and filters. In the medium term, a connection to PubliDo is also planned so that the data can be automatically transferred to the university bibliography. The implementation is currently still being worked on.
In addition to quality assurance, the library also offers counseling and assistance for working with FIS in the area of publications. If you have any questions, please send an e-mail to bibfisfh-dortmundde .
Further information, instructions and tutorial videos can be found on the intranet:
