Hans Uhde Prize honors academic achievements

Four Fachhochschule Dortmund alumni were honored with the Hans Uhde Prize for their outstanding academic achievements in engineering at a ceremony on 29 April 2024. The Hans Uhde Foundation also honored four graduates of TU Dortmund University and an employee of Uhde High Pressure Technologies GmbH.

After welcoming speeches by Michael Höllermann (CEO thyssenkrupp Uhde GmbH) and Prof. Dr. Jörg Thiem(Opens in a new tab)  (Vice-Rector for Research and Transfer at Fachhochschule Dortmund), Prof. Dr. Hendrik Wöhrle(Opens in a new tab)  (Faculty of Information Technology at Fachhochschule Dortmund) gave a lecture on "The Intelligence of Things - Embedded Artificial Intelligence for the Common Good".
