Bachelor Film and Sound - Focus on Film
In the FILM & SOUND bachelor’s program, students are trained in the planning and execution of film projects. This interdisciplinary approach to film is integrated into a project-based curriculum, during which students create their own film and sound works in the specialized modules.

Feel free to come in for a portfolio consultation on Serious Games & Digital Knowledge if you want to develop games that go beyond mere entertainment. We emphasize the close connection between games and learning, and we’re interested in your perspective on this topic.
Please prepare your work so that you can present it digitally. For example, you can show drawings and (possibly animated) 3D models, digital (or hybrid) game prototypes and/or levels, designs for graphical user interfaces, and/or flowcharts. We also welcome board games, card games, and role-playing games; Arduino projects; 3D-printed objects; cosplay materials; designs for escape rooms; and more.

Master Theater and Digitality
New dimensions of storytelling through the expansion of the theatrical toolbox: The master’s program “Theater and Digitality,” offered in cooperation with the Academy for Theater and Digitality (Theater Dortmund) and the Faculty of Computer Science, encompasses performers, narratives, stages, and technologies in equal measure.
The program begins each spring semester.
Creativity, interdisciplinary expertise, and critical thinking: The master’s program “Theater and Digitality” is taught in English and focuses on research and development in the field of digitally and technologically supported theater and the performing arts. With a curriculum that bridges technology, storytelling, Dramaturgy, and performance, the study program aims to equip students with a broad spectrum of theoretical as well as practice- and application-oriented, professionally qualifying skills at the intersection of digital technologies and narratives on analog, virtual, and hybrid stages.
