Alumni
The alumni network enables former students of Fachhochschule Dortmund to keep in touch with their university even after they have completed their Bachelor's or Master's degree.
As an alumnus or alumna, you will receive invitations to alumni meetings, special further education courses, parties or other university events.
The alumni concept is currently being revised and will then be launched with an expanded range of services.

Make it orange - show your identity.
An unmistakable appearance characterizes the Fachhochschule Dortmund. Our design service supports the design of various media and keeps an eye on the corporate design of Fachhochschule Dortmund. The design service coordinates the use of the UAS logos with cooperation partners.

Germany Scholarship
Since 2011, the Deutschlandstipendium has been awarded to students at Fachhochschule Dortmund in the amount of 300 euros per month for two semesters. The cooperative scholarships are funded in equal parts by companies, private sponsors and foundations from the region as well as the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
Since 2018, the coordination of the Deutschlandstipendium has been anchored in the Fachhochschule Dortmund's university funding department.
University funding
The University Sponsorship department at Fachhochschule Dortmund acquires and supports (new) sponsors. Together with our sponsors, projects such as the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship or campaigns for the 50th anniversary of Fachhochschule Dortmund are realized and the annual academic celebration is held. Building relationships with new supporters and maintaining ties with existing supporters is very important to us and is cultivated and intensified at many Fachhochschule Dortmund events.
Marketing

Fairs
Fachhochschule Dortmund has been represented at national and international trade fairs for many years. The planning and realization of trade fair participations have an established place in the university's marketing portfolio. From the Hannover Messe to the Frankfurt Book Fair: The University of Applied Sciences and Arts regularly participates in major leading trade fairs as well as education fairs for prospective students.
Sponsoring
One aim of Fachhochschule Dortmund's university marketing is to raise its profile in the region, cultivate its image and increase student numbers. The UAS sponsorship supports these goals through emotionally charged measures: Fachhochschule Dortmund is remembered positively.
The sponsorships of Fachhochschule Dortmund are selected according to the target group they appeal to. The most important target group consists of (potential) prospective students. Pupils from secondary schools in the region are therefore particularly important target groups. Other important target groups include multipliers such as parents, teachers and students.

Creativity, comprehensive organization and internal and external communication make up the central events of Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts - including the Open Day, the First Semester Welcome and the Annual Academic Celebration.
Finding a date and location, creating a concept, sending out invitations - we plan our events step by step and ensure that everything runs smoothly. Whether digital or in person. Experience makes us better. We analyze each event afterwards and optimize subsequent events.
