Content

The 2025 E-TEMS Doctoral Workshop dedicated
its focus to Open Science as a transformative framework for
responsible and collaborative research. The workshop moved
away from conventional poster-based presentations by using a
discussion-based approach which allowed participants to jointly
establish a collective understanding of Open Science principles
and its advantages and challenges for doctoral research. The
workshop took place over two days through three sessions which
integrated conceptual discussions with collaborative
brainstorming activities before producing a consensus-based
presentation for the main E-TEMS 2025 conference. This report
outlines the workshop structure alongside its thematic results
and educational methods to demonstrate Open Science's
importance for novice researchers in various academic fields
and locations.
