The Office for Student Affairs supports key phases of the student life cycle. All matters relating to applications, allocation of study places, enrolment, examination matters and de-registration are coordinated by the study-related permanent contact persons at the Student Office.

The Central Student Advisory Services (ZSB) helps students on their way through their studies and supports them with various offers for professional qualifications, on topics such as scholarships and student financing, but also with personal problems. The first point of contact is the General Student Advisory Service.

The International Office (IO) supports all students at Fachhochschule Dortmund with study-related stays abroad, for example for a semester abroad or an internship. The IO also supports international prospective students and students who want to study at Fachhochschule Dortmund.

With the Career Service, Fachhochschule Dortmund offers students the best support for the transition from university to professional life. Key skills such as rhetoric, project management or presentation techniques can be further developed here, foreign languages can be learned and IT skills can be expanded. The Writing Center is the point of contact for questions relating to academic writing.
