To get a complete overview of a large number of scholarship programs for study programs in Germany, Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts recommends the portals "Studium Plus" and "Stipendienkultur Ruhr".
Scholarship Plus
The "Stipendium Plus" homepage is home to the 13 organizations for the promotion of gifted students supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). These award scholarships to students and doctoral candidates.
Scholarship Culture Ruhr aims to encourage and support students in the Ruhr region to apply for scholarships, as this region of Germany with its large population and high number of universities is underrepresented in the awarding of scholarships.
For the following two information platforms "MyStipendium.de" and "european-funding-guide.eu", students must upload personal data and their CV in order to be able to view scholarship providers. We therefore only recommend these two platforms to a limited extent.
MyScholarship.com
On “MyStipendium.de,” you can filter scholarship opportunities tailored to your profile from a database of more than 3,000 funding options.
FreiwilligenAgentur Dortmund connects people who want to get involved with organizations from all areas in the Dortmund region that are looking for volunteers. Before the pandemic, a representative of this information and exchange platform gave a presentation every two months at the BIZ Dortmund on possible fields of activity and helps interested people to find a suitable volunteering opportunity.
Please contact the BIZ Dortmund or check their website to see if and how this event is being offered in the current situation!
