Prison 2024 campaign days at Fachhochschule Dortmund
The event on Friday, November 8, 2024 will shed light on the topic of work and wages in prison.
Former prisoner and LGBTQ+ activist Alexia Metge (Cologne), former prisoner and spokesperson for the nationwide prisoners' union Manuel Matzke (Leipzig), legal scholar Lara Mann (Frankfurt), Prof. Dr. Christine Graebsch (Fachhochschule Dortmund) and Dr. Sven-U. Burkhardt (law firm Dr. Burkhardt, Dortmund) will give short keynote speeches.

Afterwards, we will discuss the current status quo and the possible consequences of last year's ruling by the Federal Constitutional Court, which was won by a Bavarian prisoner (represented by Prof. Graebsch and Dr. Burkhardt) and ordered the legislator to improve the current provisions on prisoner pay.
