FLÜGGE - think manager, think male?

FLÜGGE is a series of events organized by the HvO-Nordstadtgalerie that bridges the gap between university studies and professional life in order to highlight prospects and opportunities after graduation. On 13 July, Romina Maillaro, a Master's graduate from Fachhochschule Dortmund, will present her publication "Why is the management of social organizations male?".

In collaboration with Prof. Dr. Michael Boecker from the Faculty of Applied Social Studies, the publication is based on the key findings of her Master's thesis and was published by Lambertus Verlag. Her central topic: The role of gender in career advancement in leadership positions in social work. As well as providing in-depth professional insights into the topic, we present Romina's personal career. What was her path to publication like? What does she take away from it? And what does she do today?

Afterwards, all visitors will have the opportunity to share their personal experiences, wishes and thoughts and fill the walls of Nordstadt with them. The Nordstadtgalerie cordially invites you to discuss the question "think manager, think male?".
