Since 2024, the Sustainability Offices of Fachhochschule Dortmund and TU Dortmund University have been jointly recognizing special commitment to sustainability on the final day of Sustainability Week. Afterwards, various stakeholders come together to discuss sustainable mobility on campus.
Sustainability thrives on joint commitment in research, teaching, administration and studies. With the "Impact Cup" sustainability award, the sustainability offices of Fachhochschule Dortmund and TU Dortmund University recognize institutions, departments and individuals who are particularly committed to sustainable action. Since 2024, the Impact Cup has been awarded once a year on the last day of the joint Sustainability Week.
On Thursday, June 25, 2026, outstanding commitment will once again be made visible and celebrated in front of the EFS50.
This year's supporting program will focus on mobility. The largest share of CO₂ emissions at both universities is caused by the daily commute of students and staff. At the award ceremony, professors, experts from the university and the city of Dortmund will meet with interested visitors to discuss ideas for sustainable mobility on campus and beyond.
Registration is not required. Participation in the event is free of charge.
