We support all members of the UAS, from students and alumni to lecturers and employees from central institutions and administration.
Our services are aimed at students, lecturers, employees and alumni of Fachhochschule Dortmund. Whether you are just starting out or are already in the middle of your start-up journey, the start-up service offers you support, counseling and opportunities to network and turn your ideas and projects into reality.

Realizing ideas and projects
The central contact point for all our activities is the SQuArE Makerspace:
Workshop, PC pool and co-working room offer you a place where you can realize your ideas and projects.
Kickstart funding
Up to 7,500 euros for your idea
The Kickstart funding program supports UAS members (individuals and teams) for a period of up to six months with funding of up to 7,500 euros. This can be used to finance special parts and special advice required to implement the idea. The start-up service provides you with close support.
Kickstart supports the testing of initial innovative research ideas in the pre-start-up phase. The aim is to try out things in an uncomplicated way that could lead to a start-up in the future.
