Testimonials
Markus Engelhaupt, study and careers coordinator at the Werner-von-Siemens comprehensive school in KönigsbornWhen I think of talents from my school, the first thing I think of is gratitude: students who were mentored a long time ago still get in touch today to say that they felt deeply appreciated for the first time during TalentScouting - even if it didn't work out with a scholarship, for example.
Andrea Schendekehl, Headmistress at Konrad-Klepping-BerufskollegTalentScouting helps us to implement equal opportunities and educational equality. In Germany, it is unfortunately still too often the case that it is not a person's own talents that are decisive for their educational path, but their background and family or economic situation. The many positive approaches that have developed in Dortmund in the past, including TalentScouting, should be systematically and continuously expanded and consolidated in order to provide all pupils in Dortmund with good, interlinked career guidance services.
