And thanks it for the innovation and cooperation it has practiced, with which it has also shaped and advanced the city. The fact that Fachhochschule Dortmund has become the European Capital of Innovation 2021 is also a success of Fachhochschule Dortmund.

Anniversary of the Fachhochschule Dortmund

Fachhochschule Dortmund was founded on August 1, 1971. It merged with the State School of Engineering, the Dortmund School of Arts and Crafts and the Colleges of Social Work, Social Pedagogy and Business Studies. Since August 1, 2021, Fachhochschule Dortmund has therefore been celebrating its 50th birthday with an entire anniversary year. Find out more here .
