Networking and cooperation with Business Studies and companies are very important to the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. As a faculty with a strong research focus, we are a recognized cooperation partner for a wide range of projects.
Cooperation with Business Studies plays a very important role in our teaching, as:
- the full-time degree courses include practical phases and our students apply their theoretical knowledge in practice
- we offer two study programs that offer part-time qualifications(BA Mechanical Engineering part-time ,
Master's in International Project Engineering ) - we carry out numerous third-party funded projects
- the majority of theses at the faculty are written in cooperation with companies
- the technical input from current fields of work is part of our courses.
Cooperation Day 2023 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering organized its first cooperation day this year. In the morning, the careers fair offered students the opportunity to get to know future employers. In the afternoon, companies had the opportunity to talk to the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering under the motto "Industry meets the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering".
