Who or what do we stand up for?
We are committed to helping people on low incomes and their families. By rescuing food, we make a decisive contribution to sustainability.
How do we do that?
We collect food that can no longer be sold for various reasons and pass it on to low-income families.
We also provide children from these families with educational and employment opportunities.
How can you get involved?
The work of the Dortmunder Tafel is carried out almost exclusively by volunteers. From collecting and sorting food to issuing food bank cards, distributing food and children's projects, there are many different tasks.
