Fachhochschule Dortmund has welcomed six new trainees. Chancellor Svenja Stepper and her representative Thomas Kendziorra, Head of the Finance and External Funding Department, prepared them for an exciting start to their careers at the UAS.

During their training, the new recruits will take on a variety of tasks to help shape the Future Makers in their areas. For the first time, there is a civil servant administrative inspector candidate: Oliver Wenzel's training with a focus on law is divided into 18 months of practical training at Fachhochschule Dortmund and - in connection with the "Bachelor of Laws" dual study program - a further 18 months of theory at the North Rhine-Westphalia University of Applied Sciences for Police and Public Administration (HSPV).

As a welcome gift, all trainees traditionally received their "onboarding boxes" with useful items, including their personal magnetic name badge. To kick off the welcome day on 19 August 2024, the training management team had also prepared an informative introductory program to provide insights into the locations of the university of applied sciences and to facilitate initial contacts.
