From Campus Sonnenstraße:
From the subway station Saarlandstraße take the U46 in the direction of Brunnenstraße to the stop Stadtgarten (Theater).
Alternatively, from the Möllerbrücke stop, take the U42 in the direction of Grevel to the Stadtgarten (Theater) stop.

From the Max-Ophüls-Platz campus:
Walk along Lindemannstraße in the direction of the city center. At the second intersection, turn left into Kreuzstraße. From the Kreuzstraße stop, you can take the U42 line in the direction of Grevel to the Stadtgarten (Theater) stop.

From the Emil-Figge-Straße campus:
From the Dortmund-Universität stop, take the S1 to Dortmund Hbf and change here to the U41, U45, U47 or U49 subway line to the Stadtgarten (Theater) stop.

From the stop Stadtgarten (Theater) the way to the theater is signposted. Approx. three minutes on foot.

Yes, there are paid parking spaces near the Theater Dortmund. We recommend traveling by public transport.

The entrance is located on the forecourt of the Theater Dortmund (Platz der Alten Synagoge).
The orange Citroën HY of the Fachhochschule Dortmund and various information stands with orange tents will also be set up on the forecourt for you to find your way around.

You are welcome to bring your own breakfast, but we would like to point out that it is not permitted to eat it in the opera house of Theater Dortmund.

You are welcome to bring small rucksacks or jute bags.
For security reasons, it is important that you lock your jacket, umbrella and bags or rucksacks in the lockers provided during your visit to the opera house.
Please note: You will need a 10-cent coin as a deposit to use the free lockers in the opera house.

Theater Dortmund has been classified according to the criteria of the nationwide "Travel for All" label and is entitled to use the "Barrier-free tested" award.

Barrier-free access is guaranteed both from the underground car park by elevator and via the easily accessible forecourt. Large, ground-level doors ensure easy access. The wide and open foyer provides easy access to the info points with low service desks, the wheelchair-accessible toilet facilities and the theater catering. All usable rooms on the first floor and the first and second floors are accessible at ground level or via flat, wide ramps or an elevator.
Seats for wheelchair users are accessible without steps in row 16.

There are free lockers in the foyer of the opera house.
A 10 cent coin is required as a deposit for use.

Please note: For security reasons, please remember that jackets, umbrellas, bags and rucksacks may not be taken into the event. Please use the lockers to store your jackets and bags safely.
