Corruption prevention at Fachhochschule Dortmund

Preventing and combating corruption in public administration is a highly topical issue. Employees in the public sector in particular - such as those at Fachhochschule Dortmund - must act with integrity, in accordance with the law, disinterestedly and transparently.

What is corruption?

Corruption (Latin corruptus 'bribed') in the legal sense is the abuse of a position of trust in an administrative, judicial, Business Studies, political or non-economic association or organization (e.g. foundations) in order to obtain a material or immaterial advantage to which there is no legally justified claim. Corruption refers to bribery and corruptibility, the acceptance and granting of advantages.
