Our talents impress through their performance and commitment in their respective life contexts: a pupil who is heavily involved in caring for her siblings at home and has no place to retreat to study, but still manages to perform well at school, is doing a great job in our perception. A pupil who has only lived in Germany for a few years, speaks four languages and attends science clubs can achieve anything with good companions - even if there is still room for improvement in some subjects. The volunteer work that students do to make a difference in their communities also deserves attention.
The stories that our talents look back on, their successes, their goals and dreams for the future - all of this can also encourage and inspire other young people with similar biographies.
